Did you know that…
- The PROPOSED Gross Dam Expansion Project is STILL NOT a done deal?
- And YOU have a chance to participate in stopping it!
We had a wonderful turnout for our public meeting held March 4th at the CCCIA Hall. if you weren’t able to make it, the presentation can be viewed on the Documents page of the TEG Website.
The message to come out of the meeting was that this is the time to act. We need everyone in the community to take just a few minutes to submit comments to FERC and/or to write a letter to the Boulder County Commissioners. They are elected to represent US and they must be our voice!
We took some time to make that a little easier for you – you can make a difference in 5 minutes or less!
We have made it really easy to write a letter. PLEASE visit the Letter Support Page. We have provided step-by-step instructions on how to submit comments and have even written comments organized by topic that you can cut and paste into your own letters.
FERC comments must be submitted by April 9th so please act soon!
We know many of you are tired of hearing about this. You may even be so worn out that you have stopped going to meetings, stopped reading articles about this issue, and tried to not care anymore. That’s the definition of Compassion Fatigue. We know. The board members of TEG live in the canyon and around Gross Reservoir. We are your neighbors, we are your friends, and we are fighting to preserve our way of life.
We have a real chance to succeed – We need your participation!
